Ride Postponed to Sunday March 25!

Hi Everyone,
There has been a change of plans. Due to the potential for low turn-out (partially a result of today's ACC championship game which also starts at 1PM), today's ride will be postponed until Sunday March 25. I am sorry for the late notice on this and hope that everyone will be able to make it to the next ride.

See you all soon!

Ride Sunday Mar. 11 - 1 PM Fred Fletcher Park!

Hi All!

After a three-week hiatus, Raleigh Rides is starting back up again. This Sunday we'll pick up where we left off last time and head out for the southern-most third of Route No. 11. Plan to meet at Fred Fletcher Park, 1 PM per usual.

If you're trying to remember where Route 11 is, here's a brief blurb on Route 11 to jog your memory from the Raleigh Bike Route Map:

"This north-south route along several major thoroughfares on the east side of the city connects Durant Park to Sanderford Road Park while crossing five other routes. Defensive cycling techniques should be used with additional caution during rush hours."

There is also a map posted on the raleighrides.blogspot.com website. Right now the forecast is calling for a slight chance of drizzle. I'll post and email on Sunday by noon if the ride is cancelled - but for now let's cross our fingers for sun.

I hope to see you all there!
